Povzetek

Raziskovalno vprašanje (RV): Ali življenjski slog voznikov avtobusov vpliva na pojav zdravstvenih težav in absentizma?
Namen: Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti ali življenjski slog poklicnih voznikov avtobusov vpliva na pojav zdravstvenih težav ter na pojav absentizma.
Metoda: V raziskavi je bila uporabljena kvantitativna metoda raziskovanja. Podatki so bili zbrani s strukturiranim anketnim vprašalnikom, na vzorcu 230 poklicnih voznikov avtobusov iz različnih podjetij, ki se ukvarjajo z avtobusnimi prevozi v Sloveniji. Izbrani podatki so bili analizirani s hi-kvadrat testom in multiplo regresijsko analizo.
Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da obstaja povezanost med oceno zdravstvenega stanja voznikov ter rednostjo ukvarjanja s športno aktivnostjo in da življenjski slog statistično značilno vpliva na absentizem poklicnih voznikov avtobusov.
Organizacija: Raziskava opozarja na nujnost zavedanja menedžmenta o zagotavljanju ukrepov, ki izboljšujejo zdravstveno stanje zaposlenih in posledično absentizma. Menedžerji morajo biti bolj pozorni na zagotavljanje pogojev in socialne varnosti, ki bodo omogočale zaposlenim bolj kakovosten življenjski slog.
Družba: Nekakovosten življenjski slog zaposlenih, ki vključuje tako pojave odvisnosti kot nezadostno gibalno dejavnost ter slabi pogoji dela so pomemben dejavnik povzročanja absentizma. Vsi ti dejavniki vplivajo na pojav negativnih posledic, kot so neposredni stroški za plačila nadomestil, stroški za nadomeščanje odsotne osebe, zmanjšanje produktivnosti, ki posledično vplivajo na samo gospodarsko rast in visoke stroške zdravstvene blagajne.
Originalnost: Gre za prvo študijo, ki se osredotoča na poklicne voznike in njihov življenjski slog ter povezavo tega na absentizem.
Omejitve/nadaljnje raziskovanje: Poglavitna omejitev raziskave je v številu respondentov. Vzrok zato je manjša odzivnost poklicnih voznikov na anketiranje in, da je raziskava potekala le v Sloveniji.
